We find suitable properties and guide you through the whole purchase, from financing, viewings and checking the property to the contracts and handover. If you are new to Slovakia, we explain every step of the local process.
How buying with us works
- Tell us what you are looking for. Property type, location, size and budget. When a suitable property comes up, we let you know. You can also set up an alert for new listings and new properties will be sent to you automatically by email.
- Check your financing. Our financial advisor Juraj Poliak compares offers from banks and prepares an offer for you in advance. Mortgage and calculator.
- Viewings. We view suitable properties together. You get a reminder by email and text message before each viewing. Our current listings are on the Properties page.
- Checking the property. We look at the ownership certificate, any encumbrances, the condition of the apartment building and the monthly costs.
- Reservation and contracts. We help with the reservation and the purchase contract. You can sign the reservation agreement electronically or in person. Paying the purchase price through an escrow account is the safer option.
- Registration and handover. We guide you through the registration in the land register (cadastre) and the handover of the property, and help with transferring the utilities.
Good to know
- One- and two-room apartments often attract several buyers, so it pays to have your financing ready in advance.
- Also consider an older apartment after renovation, or areas outside the most popular districts; they can be cheaper.
- Budget for additional costs too: fees, adjustments and furnishing.
